Hasta & Lady Kay represent the Edinburgh based crew, Solidara. The emcee and
vocalist are a powerful combination, with Hasta providing intelligent, well
delivered lyrics alongside Lady Kay's beautifully fluid and compelling
voice.

Having come together in January 2004, they set to combining their musical
and creative impulses on the initial five track EP, 'Solidara Presents...'
which took them abroad to France, and up and down the UK. And now, continual
hours in the studio bring them to the inevitable and upcoming release of the
new album.

With eight tracks on offer, Hasta & Lady Kay really showcase the variety in
their vocal and lyrical talents along with their distinctively diverse
sound. The album includes 'Coffee Shop', a bouncy, uplifting track, which
has the two vocalists flowing playfully over a catchy guitar riff; 'Hell
Don't Stop' which is altogether darker, but no less another track to really
get your head nodding; and more of the favourites from their live shows,
'Reasons Why', and 'Think Carefully' amongst others.

Hasta & Lady Kay genuinely create an intriguing new sound which delivers and
promises much, and have an accessibility, without having compromised
anything, which is truly refreshing.
